From all corners of the world, the GiveLight community came together once again to walk with purpose, compassion, and unwavering commitment. We brought together 86 teams and 420 participants, including 61 community teams and 25 teams from GiveLight homes, walking an impressive total of 8,942.12 miles, participants joined from four continents, representing countries and regions including France, Dubai, Qatar, Canada, Pakistan, and Cape Town, as well as GiveLight home teams from Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Morocco, Malaysia, South Africa, and Pakistan. Whether it was –20°F or warm sunshine, our walkers showed up and kept going. Kids, families, and even an incredible 80 year old took part, and every single step made a difference.
Our mission matters more than ever. We walked for seven days to stand with children affected by disasters in Aceh, Indonesia, and the crisis in Gaza, Palestine, taking steps to bring help where it’s needed most.
