Marketing Manager

GiveLight Foundation is seeking an experienced marketer to dramatically increase the organization’s footprint. The right candidate will lead all marketing activities including digital marketing, media/PR, planning, and content generation. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in brand expansion and revenue generation and should be passionate about making a huge impact in the lives of the less fortunate. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Manager will collaborate and manage staff and volunteers to execute a comprehensive marketing plan.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a practical marketing strategy that will exponentially (10X by 2030) grow GiveLight’s footprint (awareness and donations).
- Ensure all external communication pieces contain a consistent brand image.
- Generate new revenue-generating ideas where appropriate: create and implement programs, analyze cost/benefits, and expand where appropriate.
- Analyze existing donor profiles to identify opportunities, identify new donors, and model new areas of donor expansion; determine sources of churn.
- Manage and execute marketing campaigns across online and offline channels; establish and hit key metrics specific to channels, test new tactics, and hone each channel to achieve optimal efficiency.
- Create content for all marketing channels: social media content, email newsletters, annual report, and other publications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- At least 3 years of content generation and channel management experience in the for-profit sector across multiple channels.
- Deeply familiar with marketing analysis and data mining.
- Basic ability to design content using readily available applications like Sketch, Canvas, or the Adobe suite.
- Must be able to work independently and be able to creatively use limited resources to execute on objectives.
