After the earthquake in Haiti, GiveLight activated its 100% volunteer base to mobilize the Bay Area Muslim community to join in the immediate relief effort. We collected over $10,000, which provided help to the children of Haiti via partnership with UNICEF and Zakat Foundation.

We took the responsibility of sponsoring 50 orphans to facilitate health, nutrition, shelter, and water-and-sanitation needs of the children. This was possible through partnership with Zakat Foundation.
