Our work is driven by the love for our merciful Creator and the desire to help vulnerable orphans around the world. We build beautiful homes and futures for them, focusing on areas that are affected by natural disasters, poverty, and war. We began with one home in Indonesia and are now in 12 countries, supporting more than 1,000 children.
There is light in every human heart. Manifest your own light for the benefit of our children. Become one of many Givelighters to help generate awareness and funds for our mission.
Your contribution enables us to provide a loving family, the best education, and a place to call home. $30 pays for a month of warm meals, $50 pays for clothes and tuition, $100 provides a special dinner or outing, $1,000 fully supports a child the whole year. You decide the level of your investment in a child's life.
Dian Alyan, CEO/Founder
Dian Alyan has lived a richly rewarding global life as a brilliant student, world traveler, and highly successful executive at Procter & Gamble. After losing 40 relatives in the 2004 tsunami, she established GiveLight Foundation with a mission to uplift the lives of orphans worldwide. What began as one home for 50 children has now expanded to support over 1,000 orphans in 11 countries globally. Dian's work has garnered humanitarian and leadership awards; speaking engagements at prominent universities, Fortune 500 companies, podcasts, radio and television programs; and articles in major publications such as Newsweek and Huffington Post.
A vision to rebuild a future emerged just a few weeks after the tragic December 26, 2004, Asia Tsunami. Our first home in Aceh, Indonesia became a reality just one year later, serving as a sanctuary for children traumatized by the tsunami. We have been expanding globally ever since, reaching Pakistan, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Morocco and more. Join us in our efforts to give light and love to as many children around the globe as possible.
Our founder, Dian Alyan was featured in a recent P&G Alumni Podcast - "Learning from Leaders."
GiveLight is a long-term investment with great returns - both in this lifetime and the next, God willing.
