Ismail has just graduated high school from Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Wheaton IL. He has just begun his first year of college at College of DuPage and is pursuing a career of computer engineering. He loves traveling and doing physical activities such as playing sports and exercising when he has the chance. He also loves to build PC’s and learn about how they work at both a hardware and software level.

I love developing new hobbies/interests and learning about new things. I try to do things out of my comfort zone and try to change myself as much as I can. I try to play new sports with my friends so I can develop new skills. I try to learn about other people’s views on things when they differ to mine because gaining insight is always important in life, and I feel that without it people usually have a harder time understanding others.

Why did you choose to work with GiveLight Foundation?

After graduating high school and awaiting the start of college, I began to look into getting an internship. As I was looking, one of my cousins stated that GiveLight was looking for some internships and she said I should maybe consider it because it is such a great foundation that was made for a great cause. After hearing the story of the founder of GiveLight, I knew I wanted to be a part of this group because it was such an admirable cause. I decided to send an email asking for the position and I was accepted. So far being a part of the foundation has been a great experience and I am really enjoying being a part of this organization.

How do you help make a difference by doing what you do here?

My position is to create/format articles of different events GiveLight is involved in and to show how being a part of this foundation and donating can help others’ lives become better.
