Lamis holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business – People (HR) from San Jose State University and serves various other NPOs around the Silicon Valley. Working in the digital payments space, she brings in corporate based process improvements taking Givelight’s People Operations to the next level. Pastimes include fitness, food tasting, cooking, fashion blogging and anything gold.
What in life inspires you?
Serving humanity. The only way to change humanity is to serve Allah’s glorious creations. My strengths are relationship building and people skills, anything from connecting someone to being an advisory creates an opportunity to serve humanity.
Why did you choose to volunteer with GiveLight Foundation?
Our progeny needs to be held closely to our hearts with guiding advisers whether it’s parents or guardians. Every child deserves this opportunity, Givelight’s mission is to serve this purpose.
How do you help make a difference by doing what you do here?
I have been helping Givelight since 2014 with hiring, awareness and additional HR (People) operations duties.
