Education is a precious gift for anyone, especially for a child. Givelight’s mission is to help as many children as possible by giving them a loving home & education. We started a partnership with Citizens Foundation (TCF) in 2019 to provide a brighter future for 200 orphans throughout Pakistan. TCF is the largest educational non-profit in Pakistan, running close to 1500 schools, providing quality education to 220,000 students (50% of which are girls) in the most underprivileged areas of the country. We are honored to be working with the dedicated team at TCF. We thank our current supporters and hope we can secure the sponsorship of all 200 children by the end of 2021. Our immediate needs are to form two teams:
1. Board Members for NGO formation. We need four people for the following positions: President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer.
2. GiveLight Volunteers who can help with different tasks as needed including visiting the land, spreading the word about the project, monitoring construction, etc.
We are also looking to hire a part-time Project Manager who will ensure our project is done on time and on budget with the highest level of standards. If you have leads for the above roles, please email us at info@givelight.org.

Building a New Home
Even though, we began our work in Pakistan right after the 2005 earthquake vy supporting 150 children in Balokat and Mansera, over the years, our work has evolved. We have been looking for a trustworthy partner on the ground to build a GiveLight home. Please see more below on where things stand.
Updates:
- The land donation is secured in Multan.
- GiveLight Pakistan is being registered and licensed by the local government authorities.
- GiveLight Pakistan board and its members are identified and leading the way to NGO formation. We will require other volunteers’ support at a later stage.
- Once blueprints are finalized and the construction phase starts, we will need volunteers to help with different tasks as needed including visiting the land, spreading the word about the project, monitoring construction, etc.
