We successfully launched our “Rain of Mercy” campaign last year and with your generous donations raised over 80K for our children at GL homes. Continuing in the same tradition we’re launching our Ramadan 2014 campaign.
As we seek Allah’s forgiveness and mercy this Ramadan, let us shower orphan children with the benefit of our Sadaqah and Zakat.
There are a few simple, but meaningful things you can do this Ramadan:
1. Sponsor an Iftar at one of our GiveLight global homes.
For a small amount of $75 you can sponsor a wholesome and delicious Iftar for the children of our homes. Donate online or send a check to:

2. Host an Iftar to benefit GiveLight.
If you are planning to host an Iftaar this Ramadan, consider setting up a small and non-intrusive GiveLight station. Simply setup a laptop or ipad with this video (http://bit.ly/1iQe1wS), print a small poster (download here) and place a small box for donations and voila you have made your Iftar all the more special.
3. Raise GiveLight awareness at your local masjid.
You can volunteer at one of our Bay Area Masjids by signing up here or you can setup your own table at your own Masjid. Have your family and friends join you, and you all can reap the benefits of helping orphans!
4. Share your efforts on your FB page and inspire your friends.
