Sarim Mundres graduated highschool from Dougherty Valley high school as a part of the class of 2020. He currently wants to be a computer science major and wants to go into management into the future! As an eagle scout, he loves being physically active and playing a multitude of sports. He also enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community.

Learning new things. I enjoy to be challenged and I love when I gain something from that!

Why did you choose to work with GiveLight Foundation?

I always knew that I wanted to go into Computer Science, but I never had any experience with Website Development. I started looking for ways that I could gain some familiarity, and I happened to find this Internship opportunity. For me, this was the obvious choice since I felt that this was something that I was at a comfortable level, while having the chance to learn more. When I learned that this is a Muslim organization which helps children around the world, I knew that this was the right choice for me!

How do you help make a difference by doing what you do here?

Currently I am learning how to publish articles on website and how to operate the website. I hope to learn more over time, and give back to the foundation!
