Walk For Syria/Turkey.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. My name is Hanae Laghmam. I am 14 years old and I live at Bayt Al-Nour. I want to talk about my trip to Umrah, as the best opportunity of my life and one of my dreams. When I first heard the news, I felt many emotions: happiness, surprise, and tears. I could not describe the feeling I had. When the time came to travel to Casablanca to go to the Holy House of Allah, I was very excited. When I got on the airplane, it was my first time flying, so I was very curious and excited. When we arrived in Saudi Arabia, my heart was full of happiness, and when the flight attendant told us to start the Talbiyah, my heart started beating fast. I could not believe that I had reached the holy land. My happiness was very big and hard to describe.

Moreover, my feelings with Ummi Dian were full of happiness, love, and kindness. It was the first time I met her, and meeting her in Baytullah made the moment even more special. It was a beautiful meeting that filled my heart with joy, and it is a moment I will always remember.

When we went to the Holy Kaaba, I understood that this trip was not just traveling from one place to another. It was a journey from the worries of life to peace. When my eyes saw the Kaaba, I felt as if my heart had returned to its place and all my worries disappeared in one moment. During Tawaf, I felt as if I was moving with the whole world around a great secret, the secret of being close to Allah. The steps were simple, but their meaning was deep. Every step removes a sin, and every prayer opens a new door of hope. When I walked between Safa and Marwa, I learned that hope never ends and that the mercy of Allah is closer than we think.

We also visited the city of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. When I was there, I felt great peace. One of the most beautiful moments was visiting places like Quba Mosque and Bir Ghars. I returned from Umrah as a different person. I left my sins there and came back with peace in my heart. It was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life, and I will never forget the moment when I stood in front of the Holy Kaaba.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate, My name is Kawthar Hammouti. I am fifteen years old and I study in the third year of middle school. My name was chosen among the girls to perform Umrah. It was a very beautiful feeling that grew inside me day after day until the day of travel arrived. I packed my bags and wore my white clothes to go to the holy lands by plane. The trip was full of excitement until we arrived at the airport of Saudi Arabia. At that moment, I realized that my dream had become true. We started the Umrah rituals by walking around the Kaaba. The view was so beautiful that my eyes filled with tears of joy, and my heart became attached to that place.

In addition, being with Ummi Dian was a very beautiful and special feeling for me. We were very happy to be together in Baytullah. It was a moment full of joy, peace, and gratitude. We shared wonderful moments that we will never forget. We hope and pray that Allah will bring us together again in that blessed place one day. There, I left my worries and sadness. I came back with a peaceful heart and strong hope in life; because Allah is able to do everything and every dream can come true.

We also went to the Mosque of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). It was a very beautiful feeling. We also visited the Museum of the Prophet’s Biography, and I felt as if I was living in the time of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. It was a very wonderful feeling. I felt sad when it was time to return to Morocco because I loved the atmosphere and the beautiful views in the land of our Prophet, peace be upon him. I packed my bag while tears were in my eyes because I will miss those beautiful places. But I say: one day, we will return to that place, God willing.

I thank the generous donor who took me and my sisters at Home to Mecca. May Allah reward him and grant him the highest level of Paradise. I’m very thankful because it was my first experience on an airplane and my first visit outside the cities of Morocco. Finally, I thank everyone who contributed to this charitable work, and I pray to Allah that we meet again in that place.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. My name is Hajar Lahmadi. I study in the third year of middle school, and I am 15 years old. When I heard that I would go to Umrah, I had just come back from school. When I entered Bayt Al-Nour, I heard my friends saying that we would go to the best place, which is Mecca. When I heard my name among the girls who would go, I did not believe it at first. I thought it was a joke. But in truth, I was very happy. I had never felt such happiness in my life.

Every day I waited for the day of travel. When the day arrived, I was very excited because I wanted to see the Kaaba for the first time. When we arrived and I saw the atmosphere there, I felt something I had never felt before. When I saw the Kaaba, I started crying without realizing it. Those were the most beautiful days of my life in the purest place. Moreover, meeting Ummi Dian again filled my heart with joy, because I had missed her for a long time. When I saw her, I felt a great happiness that I cannot describe, because she is like a mother to me and one of the most precious people in my life.

I asked Allah that we could stay in that place and not return, because I felt great peace there. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. I understood that everything is close and easy for Allah. When we went to the city of Medina, I felt a great calm around it. The days passed quickly there, and they were wonderful days.

By the grace of Allah, one of my dreams came true while I am still young. I will keep praying to Allah every day to return to that place again and to perform Hajj one day.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad. I thank Allah for His many blessings. My name is Zahra Haji. I live at Bayt Al-Nour home. I study in the third year of middle school. I am 14 years old and I love quiet places and I feel comfortable in calm environments. The most beautiful surprise in my life was when I learned that I would visit the Holy Kaaba of Allah to perform Umrah.

On that day, I finished my studies and returned around 6:30 in the evening. When I entered the dining hall, I heard voices saying:

“Congratulations! You will visit Al Bayt Al Haram!”

I did not understand what was happening, so I went to my supervisor and asked her, “What is happening?”

She said, “What you heard is true. You will go to Umrah. Congratulations, my dear.”

She hugged me, and I thanked Allah. I was very happy and I could hardly believe it. After that, the days passed and we started preparing for the trip. Then the special day arrived. We left Oujda wearing white traditional clothes. We had Iftar and prayed, then we traveled to Casablanca. A car took us to the airport, and then we boarded the plane. When we arrived at the hotel, which had two towers, we checked in, rested, prayed, and then went to sleep. On the second day, we visited the Kaaba and performed Tawaf and walked between Safa and Marwa. It was a little tiring, but it was very enjoyable. The happiest moment was when we saw the Kaaba for the first time. Touching it was an amazing feeling.  We cut a small part of our hair, took a shower, rested, and then went to pray.

In addition, I really enjoyed sitting and talking with Ummi Dian. I felt very happy, and it is hard to describe that feeling. I also loved reading the Quran with her and having iftar next to her. We also visited some places such as Mount Arafat, also called the Mount of Mercy. It looks different from other mountains, and the view from the top is very beautiful. We also visited Quba Mosque, Bir Ghars, and the Mosque of Lady Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, and other places.

After that, we returned to Morocco. Our families were very happy to see us back. They welcomed us with joy, and happiness.

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Peace and blessings be upon the best of messengers. My name is Douae Touri, when I heard the news that I would go to Mecca to perform Umrah, I felt that my heart was rushing with excitement to that pure place. It was a trip different from any other trip. It was full of deep feelings and sincere tears. When I entered Al Masjid Al Haram and saw the Kaaba for the first time, I could not stop myself from crying. I felt a deep sense of peace and humility that I had never felt before. Moreover, when I met Ummi Dian, my happiness became even greater. It was a beautiful moment that made my trip more special, and I will always remember it with joy.

At that moment, I felt how small this world is and how great the mercy of Allah is. I saw people from many different countries coming together to worship Allah. The sight of people walking around the Kaaba was very touching. When I walked between Safa and Marwa, I remembered the patience of Sayidah Hajar. Our happiness was not complete until we also visited the city of Medina, where the Mosque of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is located. When I entered the Prophet’s Mosque, I felt great peace and comfort.

Praying in that blessed place is a feeling that cannot be described. We also visited some places such as Quba Mosque and Mount Uhud, which reminded us of the sacrifices of the companions. Our visit to Medina was a beautiful experience that brought peace to the heart and the soul.

It was the best experience of my life. I returned with a peaceful heart and a soul full of faith. These moments will always stay in my memory, and I will never forget them.

I ask Allah to allow me to return to that blessed place again.
