Duties for the Outreach Coordinator position may include the following core responsibilities, but are not limited to:
- Identify outreach opportunities to grow GLF presence locally and nationally
- Manage and support marketing campaigns across various GLF projects
- Provide presence at relevant organizations (college campuses, nonprofits, mosques, etc.) events, activities, and meetings
- Develop and strengthen relationships with community leaders, organizations, and donors
- Manage weekly outreach scheduling, including coordination with hosting mosques, assignments of staff, and collecting, reporting and organizing data
- Support CEO in various administrative tasks related but not limited to creating and maintaining an internal calendar, external community calendar, meetings, travel, etc…
- Fielding, screening, recruiting and onboarding of volunteers and interns
Additional Support Responsibilities
- Support in maintaining records, files, databases, email/user DB, password management DB,
- Maintain intranet content and web forms updates
- Assist with a variety of daily and periodic tasks, including inventory, mail sorting, donation processing, bookkeeping, and office organization
Qualifications
- Four years college degree preferred
- Organized and able to multi-task, prioritize and follow through on various on-going and newly assigned tasks
- Ideal candidates will possess strong problem solving skills and the ability to handle a variety of challenges
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills required
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, etc.) and the ability to learn internet applications to document, organize, and perform work assignments
